Sorry for the ad laced video but its worth a watch just to see

Tila Tequila's take on why the Earth is flat and the dude flying the model plane around the globe. Priceless.

People who hate themselves have a deep need for attention, and negative attention over none is preferred. As in only religion belief or the most whacked out conspiracy theorists, belief confers a sense of self importance.

I believe there's a correlation between how stupid the shit a person believes is and how desperately that person wants other people to believe the same shit. It's like they live in Family Feud world and are trying to make their belief the #1 answer on the board so that it seems less stupid.

It would be nice if there was an intelligence test that had to be passed to be allowed to vote or reproduce.

If you have been told you're the stupidest person who ever lived, there is great comfort in acting like its true and having an ego front that derives great joy in shoving that stupidity in other people's faces while denying it and enjoying saner peoples' reactions.

Which begs the questions: How do you determine who is acting on an ego thing and who really is that fucked up? And is it better or worse to be the stupidest person on Earth ironically as opposed to the stupidest person on Earth naturally?

This is another distraction put out by various interests. You can't convince the other that the earth is flat or not. But hey, it keeps people busy with yet another topic to discuss. LOL

It's a scam. Flat Earthers are hoping to aggravate the public enough to get a free trip into space to prove the obvious and shut the fsck up.

I don't see why we all must fight and argue over every single topic.

If one wants to believe in something, let them. Everyone wants to convince everyone else how wrong they are.

Allowing idiotic beliefs (like flat earthers) to propagate??? You don't see a problem with that? Like, maybe, being detrimental to the species in any way?

Indeed. I let children play with the pot of boiling water on the stove. Their belief in the fun of it is of the utmost importance.

How would you go about countering them? Shutting them down with force? Shutting them down with your version of science? Ridiculing them?

Some of you people here are very judgmental but I'm not a flat earther. However, it is weird how passionate some people are over this kind of stuff. Look on Youtube - it's like a religion. One side picks one religion and they fight each other. It's sad in some ways.

LOL, there is flat earth paraphernalia too. It's similar to a religion like I said.

Ah, what a world. Where people live in their own little illusions.

Your version of science?

Flat earth doesn't qualify as science.

Religion is based upon the unverifiable. Science is not.

From what I can tell, many appear to be so.

Truly believers. They don't care about reality but only their own version of it.

That is right, organized religions are based on believing while true science is not - unless it manipulated or coerced though. That is why many of the movements - flat earth, etc. - are often times, not always, based upon faith and belief rather than actuality.

There are some people who call themselves religious and are exploiting their followers with many similar agendas. Flat earth seems to be one of them.
