The earliest memory you can recall

Describe the very earliest memory from your life you can recall.

Mine I believe to be is jimmying out of my crib at night to get some lime koolade that I remembered seeing on the table. I remember stumbling into the kitchen and being caught by my aunt. I never got the koolade 🙁 It's a very fuzzy memory obviously, I must've been about 2. I'm 19 now.

a big vagina

edited for seriousness:

I remember taking a nap and waking up and crying that none of my parents were there and then my dad came in the room and picked me up. I think I wet the bed too. Must have been about 2, I'm 24.

Wow..how can you remember things from when you were 2 years old? :Q

My earliest memory is when I was probably 4 or so, we went to Marine World (I'm 15)

I have a very faint memory of traped in a room with bars on it (guessing my crib?) and I couldn't get out. the only wierd thing about it is I saw my bed (the one I had first) thru the bars of the crib....maybe I was being a bad little boy and my parents put me in the crib so I would stop bothering them?

who knows...

It's very isolated, it's the only memory from around that time I have. No idea why it stuck. The memory is a weird thing.

A remember a bunch of things but im not sure of their order so i wouldn't be able to tell you which one is first

2 years 13 days old 🙂

It was the Christmas Eve night of 78, I was pissed about something and I remember my mom bringing me a early Christmas present. It was Burt and Ernie in a Tub w/ wheels.

BTW: I was in my crib. I noticed a couple other people remember crib memories. Is there a pattern or reason why?

Yeah I remember having both a bed and a crib at one point, must've been during the switch.

a group of guys broke into my house, and knocked me out. Before I passed out, I something about erasing my memory....

 I remember almost every Christmas from 3 years old. Had a lot of Burt and Ernie stuff too. Scratch & Sniff rocked!

I think i was 2. I was riding my tricycle inside and for some reason i rode it down the basement stair and the stairs were cement.

2 years old, had to spent night in hospital. I was pissed off at my parents because they said they weren't going to leave me, so much so, that I punched my mother when they came to pick me up. 🙂

When my parents got married they stayed with my maternal grandparents for a while.

I have no idea how old I was but less than three years old. I was looking out of my grandparents window and remember workmen doing something with a inboard motor boat.

Discussing it with my dad many years later, he discussed that he needed the money and sold the boat. The men I saw were getting ready to tow the boat away.

I knew I was younger than three because we lived in another house then and I remember my third birthday party.

Just turned 6 years old in '69 remembered waiving goodbye to my mother who was going on a trip. Oh BTW,She was killed by a drunk driver on that trip also.

That's how I gauge a lot of my memories... by birthday possibilities. Oddly enough, I have a lot of memories with our oldest boat too. Most of them when it was just sitting in the lot on the trailer with tall grass all around it.

🙁

I remember when I still slept in a crib and my dad took me upstairs to put me to bed. I also remember the first night I slept without a diaper. That was last week, errr, I mean when I was 3 or something...

when i was first at the grade school. my teacher took my 2 bucks and never returned that to me. :|
my brain is blank for anything before the age of 4. I think I start to use my brain when I was 6. all those memories are very vague until I was 11.

! Was it your lunch money?

when I was really young, my mom used to be a chain smoker. I remember at the age of 2 or 3, every time she tried to quit smoking, my dad would lecture us about staying out of her way cause she'd be in a bad mood 😛

she eventually sorta-quit when I was 4. since then, she'd been down to less than 1 pack/month.

I was running around in a room, I think it was a basement, and my brother was chasing me. I remember falling and hitting my head, but I don't remember after that. I think I was around 3 or 4.

: ) Amanda

I think I was around 3 and I had surgery. I remember my dad changing my bandages and I said "dad that hurts a lot" and he said "I know, I'm sorry"

Yeah I remember all my surgeries and hospital trips too, even those that weren't for me. I remember the last hospital my grandpa stayed in before he died very well. I was probably around 5, and I could still give you precise directions to the nearest vending machine 🙂

2 years, 9 months. I remember playing with my best friend at his house while my mom was in the hospital having my little sister.
