The dying are being put in the morgue while alive!

Well good for them . .
Goverment Healthcare at it's very best.

Subcontracted out on a no-bid contract no doubt.
Hslliburton get this one too ?

"This one say's she's not dead yet "

"You questioning my authority ? Want to keep your job ?"

That sounds horrible, but I'd like to know the details and hear from a better source than someone on Oprah.

yeah.
sounds like a slightly confused triage.

I wonder if the "dead" person moved and scared the living shat out of the doctors...

I've heard of stuff like this happening before, especially in very chaotic and trying situations. Let's hope such mistakes are few and far between... and don't lead to unnecessary deaths.

It might actually have been a corpse: muscle contractions, intestinal gas etc. can cause twitching and movement.

Or did the doctor claim they spoke with the patient and moved them back out of the morgue?

Haven't we had enough crazy rumors debunked yet to doubt this one without a little more evidence?

You'd think they'd learn.

Arkansas National Guardsman Mikel Brooks stepped through the food service entrance of the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center Monday, flipped on the light at the end of his machine gun, and started pointing out bodies.

"Don't step in that blood - it's contaminated," he said. "That one with his arm sticking up in the air, he's an old man."
Then he shined the light on the smaller human figure under the white sheet next to the elderly man.

"That's a kid," he said. "There's another one in the freezer, a 7-year-old with her throat cut."

[...]

One of the bodies, they said, was a girl they estimated to be 5 years old. Though they could not confirm it, they had heard she was gang-raped.

"There was an old lady that said the little girl had been raped by two or three guys, and that she had told another unit. But they said they couldn't do anything about it with all the people there," Brooks said. "I would have put him in cuffs, stuck him in the freezer and left him there."

If true, can we now agree The Guardian is FOS and has been discredited for use here at ATP&N?

Uh....no.

Nice try, though, Mr. Liberal Meteorologist Faux Surfer.
I'll keep asking you to come on down with your board and go surfing with me. In fact, come this weekend. Maria should be sending in a nice swell this weekend, once the current victory at sea conditions abate (You'd drown in those conditions). If you're real lucky and the conditions are just right you might even actually be able to paddle out to the outside break before you get pounded trying to take off on a set wave, if you have any physical skills whatsoever. But I'm not counting on that.

Don't forget to bring your tennis racquet and golf clubs too.

The invitation is open any time, son. I would SO enjoy it and I'll even bring a camera to document it all as well and post it here on AT for everyone to see. I'd advise you to bring a camera too so people can get your side. LOL. PM me and let's set it up.

I don't expect I'll hear from you any time soon on this though, Mr. Faux accuser. If you have any nads, display them or STFU.

Seems you were offered to go surfing with another ATer and keep welching...hmmm.

Anyway, I don't surf and never claimed to have surfed.

None of that matters, though, while people are dying, unattended, down in LA.

And who is that? I spoke with someone in here one or two times last year and never got together with them since I was busy getting pounded by hurricanes in Orlando and spent weeks cleaning up and fixing my house. I don't even remember who that person was.

Anyway, I don't surf and never claimed to have surfed.
Then STFU about things you don't know anything about.

None of that matters, though, while people are dying, unattended, down in LA.
You call me on it, then try to slink away? All of the sudden none of it matters?

Well thanks for clearly demonstrating your trollish nature.

That's what a doctor working at NOLA airport said today on Oprah's show. Re-airs at 1AM.
if it's on Oprah it has to be true
I just saw the video.

The people are "too far gone" and are "John Does and Jane Does".
