I've been searching high and low for a decent extended version of Dreaming Tree all over the place. I've only heard the studio release from BTCS and the half-assed version from my box set of The Gorge...

It was played 36 times live:

But I can't seem to find any working servers. Someone please PM me or something if you have ANY versions of the song. It's my favorite song in the world

I'm 94th in line to get a version at Gorge Ampitheatre, and getting a version done in Central Park now.

Great song!! My favorite DMB songs from that album. But I feel the theme of that song was ripped off from Telegraph Road by Dire Straits.

The first time I head this song back in '98 I fell in love with it. I just get chills whenever I hear it...it's just that powerful for me followed closely by Seek Up.

Anytime! Actually I owed you this one - in a thread ages ago you listed this as your favourite song. I proceeded to download it and got hooked on DMB. Cheers!

Definitely. I mean, I love that song SO much. Almost felt a tear come to my eye when I heard the CP version.

Yeah, call me a pussy if you want, but that song is so powerful to me :D

LOL, I got that a lot in high school. I had more in common with the white kids than the black kids.

I got hooked to DMB with Satellite and Ants Marching when I first started listening to them in '96-'97. I've been a big fan ever since with the exception of that turd album Everyday (the only songs salvageable on that album for me were Angel and Sleep to Dream Her).

I'd also like to add Cry Freedom and Seek Up as two more POWERFUL, POWERFUL DMB songs

back when I was trading shows by mail every once in a while I'd take a DMB show in trade to even out the disc count. I probably have a few of those 98-99 shows laying around somewhere. (I used to trade A LOT, I was very bored in HS)

FWIW, I'm getting rid of all my audio live discs (all artists) after I move the stuff I want onto my raid 5 array.

Meh. I just got bored, especially crash onward. They were the best when they were a sh!thole bar college band in the early 90's. their sound worked well in small places, it was just wierd in stadiums, then they tried to adjust to stadiums, and...well, I didn't like it.

I actually never even botherd to listen to anything after streets, so I dunno. The streets version of halloween was so awful I trashed the disc shortly after... even the early stuff hasn't been much of my cup of tea since early high school or so.
