The Division (Ubisoft)

Reminds me of old school PS1 game Siphon Filter plus G.R.A.W merged. It is an "mmo" type game, but not sure exactly how the world persistence is. For both PS4 / Xbox One. Looks really good.

Looks like some good co-op fun. Parts of the UI are nice like the map, but other stuff isn't new or actually annoying. I want my ammo counter out of my way, it looks completely out of place and cumbersome where it is now. A lot of the UI is similar to what Dead Space did where it simply projected menus from your character without pausing the game.

This is the first non-sport console game that has interested me since the original NES and zelda ect. It even has me thinkign of getting a PS4 in the christmas time frame instead of waiting for christmas 2014 or later to get one.

from what I can tell you have a life bar that does NOT recharge, thats a first. Have not seen anything like that in almost for 4 years.

Definitely super excited about this. Before watching the trailer for this game, I wasn't sure if I was going to bother trying to get a PS4 early on. Now I absolutely want it.

I hope it wasn't chock full of BS. Apparently Microsoft has been keen on showing games off with i7 + GTX 780 on Win7. The hype might not carry over when it's running on APU with shared DDR3 and ~7790. It really throws everything at E3 into question, and their choice of running Windows 7 instead of 8 is just hilarious.

As for the game, definitely. I don't trust Ubisoft very much, they're about on par with EA, but when they have something cool I'll give them props.

I only buy Ubisoft when it's Tom Clancy. I only buy EA when it's... I don't think I get EA games anymore. I don't like companies that drop bug-ridden games and then don't back it up with support.

Its such a shame this is basically console only. MMOs tend to work a lot better on PCs due to the ecosystem they have around them. Kind of disappointed its limited to consoles but the premise looks interesting.

The only thing about that demo however is you need to replace every tactical senteance with the sounds of the average internet idiot. You teammates will constantly be calling you a fagot and various other nasties and they'll rage quit half way through fights and all the usual rubbish. That will very dramatically change the character of the game compared to the team tactical discussion going on.

I don't know what kind of awful experience you have had in MMO's, but that is not what I've ever expected. What you see in the demo is exactly what I've ever seen in any MMO group experience.

That's the difference between a more mature PC MMO community (not really WoW unless you actively look for people) and the random kids you run into jumping onto Xbox Live. I've typically had very good experiences in PC MMOs, but absolutely hate getting on Live. Hopefully this game sparks more of the MMO vibe.

Well that's what you get for trying to play an MMO with random strangers, that's now how it's supposed to be played.
