the difference in 33.3 pci bus and 35 pci bus?

35MHz PCI should be well within tolerances.....a slight performance boost to PCI peripherals. Should be safe for just about any device. You shouldn't run into any problems running at 35Mhz PCI.

i've ran severeal systems with the pci going at 35, there shouldn't be any noticible difference in the system. it supports it pretty much, even incredibly picky devices such as modems shouldn't have a problem.

most people run theirs at quite higher speeds safely

now my FSB is at 100
and my pci x is at
3x

100/3=33.3 pci bus
if i am going after 140 FSB
should i go to 4x

140/4=35
=)
should i guys? thanks u guys for helping man peace out

what are you worrying about the PCI bus for?

You're going to try to get your CPU up to 980MHz???

Yes, the PCI should be at 1/4 if you're running 140mhz FSB but you're most likely not going to reach that speed with a PIII 700.

i think if i have the p3v4 motherboard from asus..
i can get it over 1.1 ghz
=)
cuz i already got my on 980 already but my harddrive crashed...and etc..
