Liberal vs. Conservative

The Difference Between The Liberal and Conservative "Debate" Over The War on Terrorism:

Question: You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, a dangerous looking man with a huge knife comes around the corner and is running at you while screaming obscenities. In your hand is a .357 magnum and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family.

What do you do?

Liberal Answer:

Well, that's not enough information to answer the question! Does the man look poor or oppressed? Have I ever done anything to him that is inspiring him to attack? Could we run away? What does my wife think? What about the kids? Could I possibly swing the gun like
a club and knock the knife out of his hand? What does the law say about this situation? Is it possible he'd be happy with just killing
me? Does he definitely want to kill me or would he just be content to wound me? If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family
get away while he was stabbing me? This is all so confusing! I need to debate this with some friends for a few days to try to come to a
conclusion.

Conservative Answer:

BANG!

Well I'm Liberal, and your assesment of a liberal response to a threat like that is pure unadulterated Bullcrap.

I'ld cap his ass at the first threatening action, no questions asked.

What is wrong with you asshats and your drival about what you THINK liberals do or think? Or is your brain just plugged into Rush Limburgertalkinghead and you can't think foryourselves?

Does your Mommy help still you cross the street, junior?

Sorry Brutus, you lose. Tripleshot is somewhat younger than God himself, but by how many years I'm not sure. He has a couple decades and/or centuries on you...

Well, LordMaul is probably more correct, and at 49, you are still junior.

I think the thought that I may be turning conservative was too scary.;)

Raised as boy on Camp Pendleton. Son of a proud marine. Dad advised me to go Air Force, which I did. I think the motto is appropriate and fits my goals and desires, just as "to thy own heart be true".

I salute you sir. We who served, gave this country the respect and honor that these third world countries envy, and from that envy has come the hatred manifest in todays world. I can only hope our youth do not lose sight of the freedom we so valiently fought to preserve, and abdicate it to fear of oppression by giving away our freedoms to a government that seeks to root out terrorists by stealing your constitutional rights to privacy and illegal search and seizure.

Hippy enough for ya? ;)

If Bush goes on with his war with Iraq, it's more like a rich family armed to the teeth is walking down the street when they see a poor starving family and they think to themselves, "those guys LOOK dangerous, maybe they are THINKING about buying a gun someday, and only we should have guns", so the dad goes over there and shoots him just in case.

That's called MURDER in any country.

I fail to see the correlation between Sadam and a poor person on the street

Then you should be in Washington D.C. for the anti-war protest. :p

Nope, It's more like a murder that is out of jail on probation. He has failed to report to his parole office and refused to be searched by the police to see if he is holding a weapon.
