You didn't use the word 'jealousy', for which I have a rule the person is an idiot, but you came too close, and are just as wrong.
Your post really shows the wrong, uninformed, ideological poison that has infected so many people who have no idea about wealth as their nation is stolen from them.
Your comments affect ranges in the middle class. They are not relevant to the ultra wealthy - in this post's graphic, the $1 million+ per year income group.
The issue isn't that not one person can move into that group - but that it's impossible for more than a very few, and that the group's interests can slash opportunity for others.
With all the reading you do, and the legnthy posts on the subject, you still don't get it. I really don't understand why because you seem to be willing to do the work.
Taxes have very very little to do with the wealth distribution in this country. I will give you the fact that they play a small part but it is very small. Ask yourself this, who specifically is gaining wealth in our current economy. Do your own homework because nothing I say will change your opinion. Then ask yourself, why has the government controlled completely by both Republicans AND Democrats literally taken money out of all of our pockets, and the pockets of our children, and given it straight to them? Oh, and this is completely unrelated to any "tax" issue.
Who do you think QE2 will benefit while the rest of us deal with higher costs of living that the .gov says are non-existent?
You are right, we are being looted in this country. Tax policy is not how they are looting us though. I find it bewildering that this isn't an issue that all sides can shake hands and agree on. Instead we continue to bicker about things that are impossible to change, inevitable, or unimportant while both parties sell us down the river.
Your progressives haven't been vocal in the least about the issues that are currently demolishing the rest of us, neither have their conservatives or damn near anyone in between. This includes you.
Why is that?
