The Cubs were in the playoffs last year.
The Cubs didn't lose 119 games last year.
The Cubs have been over .500 in the last ten years.
Go Tigers.

haha how about Redwings and Pistons championships this year, Lions in/win the superbowl the next two years, and the tigers finish ABOVE .500!
May as well wish for world peace while you are at it.

And I repeat:
The Tigers won a grand total of 3 games ALL of last April. It took them 22 games to do it.
As a Tigers fan, I need something to be excited about. This 3-0 start is just that.
Demean it all you want, but it's nice to see a team that I watched lose 119 games last year get off to a nice little start.
Do I expect it to translate into a season with a winning record? No.
Do I like to see that the team I love is improving? Yes.
Oh, and we all know the Red Sox year is 1918.

it's a great start for the tigers. i wouldn't be surprised if they finished out of the cellar in their division this year.
they could even break 500. that would be a pretty amazing turn around if they did.

Wow, that didn't take long - three games into the season, and only 2 teams are undefeated.
Current standings.

They're in a weak division. I wouldn't be surprised if they're this year's Marlins.
Of course, if that happens then hell has frozen over and pigs are flying.
Just wait until they start playing better teams.Originally posted by: Wingznut
The ONLY undefeated team in the major leagues! (Whoda thunk it???)
