Just wait until they start playing better teams. :p
I guess last year's division champs (Twins) don't count?

:p

That was a weak division last year. If they can sweep the Yankees or the Red Box, they'll make a believer out of me. :D

Well, nobody has said they are going to the World Series or anything... It's just fun that they don't completely suck. :)

give detroit fans their due.

after enduring what they did last season, they have EVERY right to celebrate a 4-0 start.

Good Luck guys ...

I hate see your hearts broken like mine was :brokenheart:

The Royals started out the same way last year , record winning start, and didn't even make the playoffs :(

This may be the only time of the year that I can even brag about them being over .500. :)

You're a Detroit Tigers fan?

Jason Johnson really showed something today huh?

There is no way Pudge is going to carry this team into the playoffs.

Rondell White and Fernando Vina?

Hey, at least you've heard of them. It's a stark contrast and a HUGE improvment from last year.

Yeah they are only gonna lose 95 game this year;)

This could be part of Jayson Stark's Useless Info column (I haven't read it this week yet) but the spectacular top 4 starters for the Tigers (Johnson, Bonderman, Maroth, Cornejo) each have wins before these other teams' top 3 starters have wins: Oakland (Zito, Mulder, Hudson), Houston (Pettitte, Oswalt, Clemens), Cubs (Maddux, Wood, Prior), and Atlanta (Ortiz, Hampton, Ramirez). The Tigers pitching staff is the only team not to allow an unearned run this year.

Up next: Blue Jays at Comerica (National) Park. I'm sure the Blue Jays would like to show up the Tigers and get them back for the opening series sweep. I'd like to see the Bengals pull out another series win 2 games to 1.
