This may be the only time of the year that I can even brag about them being over .500. :)

You're a Detroit Tigers fan?

Jason Johnson really showed something today huh?

There is no way Pudge is going to carry this team into the playoffs.

Rondell White and Fernando Vina?

They're in a weak division. I wouldn't be surprised if they're this year's Marlins.

Of course, if that happens then hell has frozen over and pigs are flying.

Don't worry, they will be back to .500 tomorrow.

I'm going to that game. :)

Go Jays!

No, they aren't going to be in the World Series any time soon... But at least they (probably) won't be hunting the record for the most losses in a season. :)

I wouldn't count them out of that race just yet. At least we have the Red Wings, Pistons, and Lions (maybe not Lions) to make us feel better.

I called my friend (an Indians fan) to brag yesterday. :D

I figured if I didn't get the call in before today, it may be too late!

Go Tigers! :D

Hey, at least you've heard of them. It's a stark contrast and a HUGE improvment from last year.

Not everyone is a fan of a team with a huge bankroll you tool.

So just out of curiousity, what's the Red Sox record compared to the Tigers record so far this year?

And let's not forget, the Tigers have acutally been to AND won a World Series in my lifetime.

Yeah, I hear they looked really good yesterday. I hope they won't have any major injuries though. They aren't very deep, and I shudder at the thought of "supersub" Inge getting a lot of playing time. Has that guy ever hit over .200?

I am really anxious to see how Pudge's presence will affect Maroth and Bonderman. Hopefully he can speed along their development.

I actually think Detroit will be the most improved team in baseball this year. Barring injuries, I can see them winning 70 games this year if one of their pitchers can step up, they have the bats.

Yeah, probably not the Lions. I wouldn't put any emotion into any team led by Joey Harrington. :D

How can you bash Joey? He's done pretty well considering he's had ZERO running game support and ZERO above average receivers to work with.

I don't' even pay attention to the Tigers anymore. Baseball is so boring to watch. But it's fun to play.

Let's Go Red Wings!

haha how about Redwings and Pistons championships this year, Lions in/win the superbowl the next two years, and the tigers finish ABOVE .500!

You had me going until you talked about the Lions winning the Super Bowl...

May as well wish for world peace while you are at it.
