Tell me the last and how many times the Skins have been to the Super Bowl?

Now tell me how many times the Lions have? Ooohhh yay none

Dude, I'm a Skins fan.

Even though the Skins won today, it was a poor effort. I'm just venting my frustration.. heh

At the end of the day the only thing that matter is if it scored in the W column or L column.

I was Skins fan back in the John Riggins day

If you need to be warned about picking them then maybe you should move onto to betting another sport and staying away from Casinos. ;)

Good idea. I almost won last week, and I pulled every team out of my ass. I don't follow football and just chose teams with names I heard of:). Lost by a single game.

Fail is the cost of 2 cups of coffee, so whatever.

The Vikings would beat the Lions without a QB at all. Line up with Peterson and 2 blocking backs, direct snap to AP and dare the Lions to stop it. They probably couldn't. We'll see the real Brett show up when Minnesota finally plays a decent team and he throws 5 picks.

They held Peterson to 92 yards today.

Lions would have won the game if they didn't have a rookie QB that is throwing picks every other possession, but this is what they want. Just about every rookie QB does this. They are giving up wins for the sake of giving Stafford playing time. That is pretty ballsy given they've just come off of a 0-16 season. If it was me, I'd have gone with Culpepper.

Playing Culpepper doesn't sell tickets.

They played well enough to win in the 1st half, d played great, lotsa pressure on the old man, then they just collapsed in the 2nd half, fumble by Smith, then the INT by Stafford....and missed tackles all over the place....

So the Lions couldn't beat a good team. Thanks for stating the obvious? Brett Favre is not even 40 yet and he's still just as good a QB as the top half of all QBs in the league. Let's not forget who the Vikings have on offense and defense.

Hyperbole (pronounced /h??'p?:rb?li/, from ancient Greek "?pe?ß???", meaning excess or exaggeration) is a figure of speech in which statements are exaggerated. It may be used to evoke strong feelings or to create a strong impression, but is not meant to be taken literally.

You'll get it some day champ

yep. they have had several promising starts over this 0-19 run..... they need to play a complete game for once. they looked great in the 1st quarter. unfortunately there's 4 quarters.

i can't see them winning until MAYBE Week 8 against the Rams, but they won't. i'm thinking they have another shot at 0-fer. they really are that bad.

To be fair, Grandpa Favre doesn't have to do too much with probably the best RB in the league on his team.

Grandpa Favre's job is to hand the ball off to Peterson and NOT lose the game. :p

great thing about lions is in fanstasy football. You see them as an opponent, you have a must start. When their bye week comes, you kind go into panic mode.

Tavaris Jackson sure had an issue doing that. So did Gus Frerotte.
