Not sure if you guys remember, but very heinous murders took place a while back. Here is brief synopsis finally, after getting a jury selected.



Knoxville (WVLT) - The District Attorney General of Knox County announced the list of charges facing now five suspects in the double murder of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom.


The District Attorney General Randy Nichols is not saying whether or not he will seek the death penalty, but he does say the State will seek conviction for all charges filed in a 24-page indictment from the Knox County Grand Jury.

The animals below; car-jacked, then raped Christopher Newsom, cut off his penis, then set him on fire and fatally shot him several times while they forced his girlfriend, Channon Christian, to watch. An even more cruel fate awaited her!

Channon Christian was beaten and gang-raped in many ways for four days by all of them, while they took turns urinating on her. Then they cut off her breasts and put chemicals in her mouth.... and then murdered her.


Lemaricus Davidson, 25 , faces a total of 46 charges.

Letalvis Cobbins, 24 , faces a total of 46 charges.

George Thomas, 24 , faces a total of 46 charges.

Vanessa Coleman, 18 , faces 40 Tennessee state charges.

Eric Boyd, 24 , also arrested in connection with the fatal car jacking, only faces federal charges as an accessory after the fact.

Here are some questions:

Where's Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson? Are they providing counsel and help to the families of the victims?


Of course not - the victims were white



Why hasn't this received National coverage by the news media like the Duke 'rape' case?

Why hasn't the NAACP, ACLU, New York Times etc.., called for an investigation?

So, if a white radio shock jock uses the phrase 'Nappy headed', it gets 2 weeks of constant news coverage.

If two white people are tortured, raped, and murdered by a group of black people, it barely gets a blip in the news.

Our small town here has been hit pretty hard about this....it is truly an amazing situation to see how this event is treated so differently than some of the others mentioned above.

What do you do?
 
Did you watch Cobbins sentencing? His family was the worst bunch of actors I have ever seen, and yet got him out of the death penalty. Pissed me off.

Edit: BTW, I went to school with Channon. She was a really nice girl. No one deserves what she had done to her.

I caught some of it...too disgusted....

There can be no real justice in a case like this. Just hate knowing these pieces of shit are taking up tax dollars....they have no semblance of human qualities. They are animals.

I really don't understand why an animal like Cobbins or any of the people involved in this are kept alive. What is the point? Situations like this really need something more than First Degree Murder to be charged with. This is much more than first degree murder. This guy gets to go on living his life in prison, working out, eating hot meals, raping other inmates, etc. This person obviously has no respect for human life, and is obviously not going to be rehabilitated in any way, he should just be killed. Even if you oppose the death penalty I don't see how anyone can justify keeping animals like this alive.
 
If I were related to the victims in any way I would murder every one of the perps. I don't care how terrible that makes me sound. Trash like that doesn't deserve to live, regardless of their color.

All the pleas by his family were so faked. I watched the entire thing, and it was the worst case of acting I have ever seen. Good enough to sway the jury, though.

There are a few reasons why this hasn't gotten much coverage in the national media -
1. It is two of 16,000+ murders per year in this country
2. The description of what happened is very graphic and would make people uncomfortable
3. Nothing about this story warrants national coverage.

Because they aren't black. I'm pretty sure if the colors were reversed, without a doubt, this would get national coverage.
 
You're thread starts with a false comparison.
Not only have black people been routinely convicted on far poorer evidence than white people, but you are "assuming" their is no longer racsim.
Many years ago my religious group had an advocacy organization that fought discrimination. At the time it was necessary. Nowadays my people pretty much get an even shake.
I don't think its out of line that their is an advocay group or people who try and make sure that racism is not effecting their group.
On the other hand, the actions of specific members of those advocacy groups are a fair target.

Now if you are saying white people don't get an even shake, well, time to shave your head and wave the Nazi flag.
