Why do they keep doing this with movies and tv shows? Dexter, The Sopranos, etc. Don't get me wrong, I love them all and I think they should be shared with people who don't have premium channels but can't they put them on TV and do what comedy central does with airing them late at night without editing them?

It really feels like the movie loses so much when you have Mark Wahlburg's line of "Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe fuck yourself.", possibly the greatest line he's ever said and one that compares with other greats, changed to "Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe frig yourself".

That's why I don't watch certain movies on cable. Even though I am tempted to because the movie is good I hate having to listen to lines like that.
 
this is what places like hulu, netflix streaming, or the pirate bay are for. i kinda like this movie, and just noticed it on tv and after about 5 minutes i cut it off. meh.

its permitted here like...after midnightish, or for some special movies (iirc saving private ryan and schindlers list both aired unedited, on nbc primetime or something)

Cus of the damn Puritan "values" and the retarded people who run the crap today. Badwords and nudity are bad but not tearing someone apart.

That was a good movie, but holy hell did the accents get on my nerves. If you want to see a bad TV edit, watch Mallrats on ABC.
