$299 was tempting, but at $349 I'll wait for the 60GB model price to drop (and get Jasper-ized).

The obvious prediction is the 60GB with a newer game or two, for $299 at xmas.

That does mean waiting another 2-3 months to play Operation Darkness though :(

hey remember when we argued about the ps2 going down in price last holiday? That never happened... I doubt we'll see any PS3's (with games no less) @ $299.

There's no rush for me to own a ps3, now that I have a psp! Now if I could only find a cheap ps2 so I can play GOW 1&2 because those are probably the BEST games made for the ps2.

Wrong console, this is about the xbox 360 elite, and the new 60 GB 360 that is replacing the fire-sale 20 GB :)

Also, you were the one predicting the drop (to $99) then, while I argued against it. I won! Woohoo! (But seriously, no big deal either way. I'm just ahead a point in the Nostradamus league.)

lol, I knew this was a 360 thread going in but somehow obfuscated it with a ps3. Damn, been watching to many ps3 video previews today.

yeah I lost that argument but some other guy made the same prediction and he was wrong too and he was supposedly a sony employee or something who always made accurate predictions.

The ps2 should be $79.99 by now and the psp should be $129.99 or somewhere around that... damn sony.

Dell charges tax so it's really like $75 off for me. I'll wait for Jasper.
