5090m perf very close to 9700XT actually

if 2/3rds is close.

5090m
Code:
Pixel Rate
    169.7 GPixel/s

Texture Rate
    496.9 GTexel/s

FP16 (half)
    31.80 TFLOPS (1:1)

FP32 (float)
    31.80 TFLOPS

FP64 (double)
    496.9 GFLOPS (1:64)

9070xt
Code:
Pixel Rate
    380.2 GPixel/s

Texture Rate
    760.3 GTexel/s

FP16 (half)
    97.32 TFLOPS (2:1)

FP32 (float)
    48.66 TFLOPS

FP64 (double)
    1.521 TFLOPS (1:32)

Even with nVidia efficiencies it's a 4070

edit: 4070

Code:
Pixel Rate
    158.4 GPixel/s

Texture Rate
    455.4 GTexel/s

FP16 (half)
    29.15 TFLOPS (1:1)

FP32 (float)
    29.15 TFLOPS

FP64 (double)
    455.4 GFLOPS (1:64)

actual 4K fps dude

etc. I'm seeing average 12fps difference, up to ~20fps...

it's a half-review but still results are obvious

Have you learned nothing from both Steves? You can't compare different scenes or for that matter different reviews. Regardless -12-20fps difference is 4070ti territory.

It will get even worse after playing for a while and the throttling starts. It's conservation of energy. Power performance heat.

nah the good ryzen laptops even with furmark 100% full usage they keep just below temp thresholds

basically they don't throttle

So when they learned that ~80% of Internet traffic is bot traffic, they thought that the best approach is to make it 100%? Didn't FB pitch a similar idea to its stockholders, making up tonnes of bot users to make its platform look less dead?
Every AI model, be it in the internet, a software or even local LLM that runs automation is a form of bot.

We wont even be playing our games soon.
AI Will.
We just need to tell the AI, i want a legendary, and the AI will play the game for us..

Oh wait... thats called BOTTING...

Also i dont think a thin laptop can handle the heat load from a good dedicated GPU for long, unless u live in the polar ice caps, or your in a state with snow during winter.

Most cases, they do throttle especially after Unreal Engine 5
