The Death of a Beloved Pet

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss, I'm always dreading about the day when my little companion Zip, my pet parakeet, goes to bird heaven.

My bird is like a brother, they get so close...but they just don't live long enough dammit!

Now I'm crying, I can't imagine being without Zip who I've known since I was 9.

I'm sorry for your loss. I have a 15 year Cocker that we discovered has congestive heart failure and while he is not sufffering he probably hasn't got much longer to live. Unfortunately for me he is at the future ex's so I don't get to see him as much as I would like.

Losing a pet is truly losing a member of the family.

i dont know what i would do if somethign happened to my dog, i TRULY treasure him, and am hesitant to think of how to deal with the day something will happen to him.

I grieve for you. I grieve with you. I prayed and cried for Garfield last night but I sensed that his time was up when he crawled to a lonely place with dilated pupils. You gave him many good years and I'm sure he's thanking you from Heaven. I hate death. And yet, death is what makes living worthwhile. Since my Muffin is 18 and the twins are going to be 22 on March 10th, I can expect to go through the same loss soon in the future.
