The death of 62.5 micron MM fiber

I think it's done.

Every technology out there seems to run much better (longer) with 50 micron/high modal bandwidth fiber.

I was talking to some cable manufacturers today and they begrudgingly agreed. They're not selling much of it at all.

So if you're putting any new fiber in - make it single mode or high bandwdith 50 micron MM. I generally have a habit of putting in both.

Thanks for the info!
