The more money you put into the little mans pocket the more demand increases and more economy booms to meet this demand. Basic Democratic tenure.

This is the unemployment rate on the last day of the Truman, Johnson and Clinton administrations, respectively. 2.5%, 3.5% 4.5%. Under Clinton's presidency, unemployment dropped below 5 percent for the first time in 27 years. Yes, I kow about Jimmy Carter, he left with 7.5%, the same percentage he came in with. Now look at unemployment on the last day of the Hoover, Eisenhower, Ford, Reagan, and BushI adminstrations. 25%, 6.5%, 7.5%, 5.5%, 7.5%. For Hoover thats twenty five not two point five. Only Reagan left office with lower unemployment than he inherited, and his finishing unemployment rate pales beside that of Democratic administrations. Pitiful isn't it?

Zeb, you got it all wrong, haven't you been reading CAD & Co's posts, every one of those it is the previous Democrats fault just like all of this is Clinton's fault, every bit of it.

So a cyclical economy is one individual's fault now? I wish I had such simplistic thoughts as you...

I've yet to see a post by CAD or his "company" in this thread. Furthermore, I've only seen one person in this thread compare past Presidents and allege the economical strength of our nation depending on their arbitrary alliance with a political group.

What are you yapping about now dave? I don't blame Clinton for the current unemployment:p However, there was economic contraction before Bush took office if that's what you are trying to say. The contraction happened because of a failing sector of our economy. Clinton's fault? Not unless you blame the President for everything that happens(which some people here do).

"Not unless you blame the President for everything that happens" but that's you, you continually have said it's Bush and his Tax cuts making this Economy Boom higher than over 20 years and creating more jobs than losing and all the jobs have higher wages than ever before. That's what you've been saying over and over.

You changing your tune now???

I think you have a reading problem dave:) Nice try though. The tax-cuts have helped - but as anyone of sound mind can tell you - it isn't the ONLY thing that helped turn things around. I think what you fail to understand when people have used the "give Bush credit" thing - is that they say it in the context of - "If you blame Bush - you must credit Bush" But again - I don't expect you to understand this - expecially not today.:)

It wouldn't be such a "nice try" if I had a reading problem now would it ;) . That's it, I see the truth and speak the truth so I can't be of sound mind, now why didn't I "think" of that. Must be all that "brainwashing" clouding the brain cells.
