For a really good book and one of my all time faves, I recommend Kerouac's Dharma Bums

See thats why Dan Brown is a genius. Instead of writing a novel, he wrote a movie script, to cut out the middle man in the movie production. The real genius was he then proceeded to make sequels, but each sequel had a different name, so no one actually knew they were sequels until they read the books.
