The book was average - the ending was so uninspired it ruined the rest of the book. Basically, it was a trash novel, like one you can grab in the checkout line of your favorite supermarket, with some mumbo-jumbo about paintings and messages burried in them.

I agree. The actual historical stuff about the church and mary magdalene was somewhat interesting, but the story was basically a scooby-doo adventure. The "climax" every other paragraph was annoying too like Xman said.
