The Dark Knight Rider

So I was having a discussion about Knight Rider with some friends about the show being brought back and how it's going to suck rhino ass. In my infininte wisdom, I decide the show would rock and would receive major ratings bump if the Batman TV series fused with Knight Rider to become The Dark Knight Rider. How awesome would that be?

I know, I even surprise myself sometimes.

ok ok, so maybe the Dark Knight Rider is a little stupid but what about this, we fuse Star Trek with Dancing with the Stars to create Trekking with the Stars? Instead of dancing on a dance floor, the contestants would dance on the bridge of a ship of their choice while wearing a federation uniform. 😀

Man I'm just full of great ideas, I should get an Oscar for this on sheer principle.

It just occurred to me that this idea would be even better if it were the original Knight Rider with David Hasselhoff, but with Christian Bale supplying the voice of KITT.

Michael: They've taken Bonnie! We have to rescue her KITT!
KITT <in that scratchy voice Christian Bale uses for Batman>: WHERE IS SHE?

KITT: I DON'T NEED YOUR HELP.

I thought Val Kilmer did a good job as the voice of the car, and I liked how they made it more gritty. It was by far the best remake of the series IMO, and I think it could work as a series.
