The Dark Knight is the best movie ever

Most overrated movie ever.

Best performance Heath Ledger ever made. Too bad he died, or else there would have been some great sequels. I think Heaths passing is one reason why another batman movie has not been produced.

Out of all of the batman movies, Heath Ledger probably gave the best performance of any other actor. Jack did a great joker, but Heath was better.

Great movie indeed. Inception however is way over-rated I think...a jumbled mess. I know it has glowing reviews but I just didn't like the movie one bit...way too contrived and takes itself too seriously.

I'd agree with that. Jack playing the Joker was well...Jack playing the Joker. Ledger's Joker was on a completely different level. The controlled madness he portrayed was almost eerily real and his character certainly had more "depth" for whatever that means than any other Batman villian to date...and that includes Jack's Joker.

It was good, but Bale's Batman voice is terrible, and this movie gets a lot more hype than it would have if Ledger hadn't died.

At the first of The Dark Knight, while the robbers are still in the bank, Heath is standing over the guard that was shot, says something like "whatever does not kill you makes you stranger" - sticks the grenade in the guards mouth and walks away - that one part is better then all of the other batman movies rolled up together.

In my opinion, Heath Ledges performance in The Dark Knight was "stunning", to say the least. Heath Ledger made the Dark Knight a great movie. I seriously doubt anyone will ever be able to replace him.

The Dark Knight was fail? It only racked up over a billion dollars in revenue... TOTAL fail indeed. 🙄

It was one of the best movies i have ever seen. I remember waiting in line for an hour on opening night then seeing it on screen. Was incredible.

Only movie that comes close to it is Inception which was a total mind fuck.

Wow, so much wrong in this thread...Batman WAS headed for Rachel; The Joker told him her and Dent were in opposite places because he knew Batman would make it to whomever he went to on time (well, almost).

Inception is the best movie ever? Please...it's a decent flick, but it's no Donnie Darko.

Not sure if serious.

Because Donnie Darko is less entertaining than taking a bloody shit.

Like the "Twilight Saga" and the last 3 abortion Star Wars movies. So if you are equating the Dark Knight to these movies. OK. Jar Jar > Heath Joker

I concur. He immersed himself in that role so well that it was no doubt the best performance of the movie and an amazing performance in its own right.

dark knight is far from best movie ever. it didn't even have original idea.

Show me a film that has original thought. Seriously. Sometimes its best to watch film even if you kinda know where its going. This allows you to focus on all the small nuances of the movie.

The Dark Knight was pretty good, but iMO, falls far short of "The Best Movie Ever Made."

There are far too many that were better for it to be in that category.
