Uhh, Republicans aren't funny . . . they are sad and somewhat retarded. There's little joy in making fun of moribund retarded people.
Democrats, on the otherhand, are happy (almost giddy) . . . and somewhat retarded. Plus their convention doesn't entail 40% (they tried to kill us), 55% (we are gonna kill them), and 5% (Jesus loves tax cuts).
Dude . . . and you know who I'm talking to . . . if you are going to make a lame argument . . . at least quote what I say before you go dawdling away.
Republicans are indeed sad and somewhat retarded. Why? They are sad b/c much of what they've predicted (tax policies since Reagan . . . including Clinton) have typically had the exact opposite effect of what they predict. They are sad b/c virtually all of their "interventions" abroad resemble Sisyphian self-flagellation. They are retarded b/c they eagerly extol "more of the same" . . . despite the abject failure of their policies.
Democrats are indeed giddy . . . b/c they've got a fighting chance at the Executive branch , (3 if not 4 nominations to the Supreme Court), legitimate shot at the Senate, and a few more gay Republicans away from the House. I think they are retarded as well if they believe Kerry will win without getting people to vote "for him" as opposed to "against Bush." Depending on the latter will lead to a close election . . . Diebold close in fact. Depending on the former would be a landslide (Electoral College) for Kerry since most thinking people think Bush policy sux.
The only people more sentiently-challenged than straight ticket voting Demites and GOPies are the Demites and Independents that disagree with the overwelming majority of Bush policy but think he will do a better job than Kerry of sorting out Iraq or mounting a TRUE global war on terrorism. Then again . . . it is conceivable that Kerry is equally inept. If that's the case why not stick with one moron in hand instead of looking for another.
