Regardless wrong or right
they need to be respected.
I say this again because you cannot argue with a customer
you have to make them happy and pleases them in a way
that they will keep coming back
your business is solely dependent on their satisfaction :)
without them you make nothing
because they are special, treat them as if you wanted to be treated.

the reason for their complaining is because
you didn't satisfy them
it is not their fault so you should walk
in shame and have you head down.
most of them are pretty nice
they are just people like me and you
a few of them can be a pain thought
still you need to treat them with respect
and pleases them
if they want something get something for them
do as they say.

Hyper99, you must understand
that if the customer
wants respect
they must give respect to
the salesman. Treat them
as you would like to be treated.
end post.

<< the customer is alway right >>

I've argued that with some pretty savy sales people! It should say that You let them think they are right.

always is an absolute!

If a customer demanded you to deliver a service or product that was under your cost on a continual basis, would he be always right?

Destroys the premise!

It is true that you should sometimes give the customer's way.
That way in terms they will continue to be swayed.
In shopping or using the services even til this very day.
A well treated customer comes back for the service.

However, the point being you make the customer feel right is also true in certain situations. Let them have it in a sense. It is not the end of the world kind of deal at times and things are not written in sacred stone. Just make a satisfied customer and you will always have a business.

Say anything you want but never say no.

Hello All,

This is my first post, but I could not resist the topic. No, the customer is not always right. It's quite obvious that if you think that way. you have probably never had to work with the public in that capacity. Most customers SUCK! They treat you like scum simply because you have to work some minimum wage job. When I go out now, whether it is to a department or grocery store, I'm patient and understanding because I know what it's like for some customer to bawl you out for something you have no control over. Get a life...you're not always right.

The customer is not always right, but good business people treat them as in a way that they believe they are. There are exceptions.

Of course, the customer is
always right. That is the main
rule on how good business
should be based. That is the
goal which every business should
strive for. Customers are the life-
blood of every business and it
should never be forgotten.
However, there are impossible
situations and impossible
customers. that's why some
places reserve the right to
refuse service. However, if
the customer is treated badly,
he is likely to tell many people
about it and you will lose
business. However, you cannot win
all situations and sometimes
you would rather not have his
friends as customers either
It is a judgement call.

Just treat the customer like
you want to be treated and
it will show in your attitude
and likely in your results.

Hyper99, WHY do you post using the 'enter' button half-way thru the line instead of letting the auto word-wrap do it's work? I guess it's just a style that makes your posts stand out.

Just curious. Expiring minds want to know.

EDIT: I guess the whole point of this thread is NOT that that customer is ALWAYS RIGHT, but they should always be made to feel as though they are. That the customer is MOST IMPORTANT to any business.
