I'm Chinese but I suffer from the "Irish Curse".

People also think I'm younger than I am. When I was 24 years old and helping out at my parent's restaurant, people would ask me what high school I go to.

But when I hit 30, I am began to hear some conflicting comments so I don't know how old I look to people anymore. Recently someone asked me if I was on break from college but later on another person asked "where's my wife" when I was helping out at my parents restaurant. Apparently he was referring to my mom who is usually at the front of the restaurant. However people at work are surprised to learn my age -- they told me I look younger and thought I was fresh out of college.

Now that I'm 40 (and approaching 41) I prefer to look younger. I'm beginning to notice aging effects on my face -- especially around the eyes and the back of my hands.
