I mean, I guess it's not really a surprise to any Canadians or anything. I've figured it out and for a 256 meg stick, after the 15% discount and shipping, comes to 133 + change CND. After that you get charged tariffs or taxes by the carrier, so it's not worth it. I can get a 256 meg stick of PC2100 locally for 120 bucks (CND) .. or I can get Crucial from the same guy for 145 CND. Ordering the crucial online isn't really worth it IMO.
What I'm getting at is this;
Canada and the States have enjoyed (depending on what side of the political spectrum you are on) free trade for some years now. I keep hearing about how good free trade is and everything. Corporations can come up here and build Fords or Chevies and us Canadians get some work out of it and so on and so forth. My problem is that shopping online is still not really an option for most of us. I find that anytime I figure out prices that seem good to you American's, just don't work out for us Canadians in the end. Even on Ebay, a lot of the sellers refuse to ship to Canada, Newegg doesn't sell to Canadians etc etc etc ... it's really lame. There is a lot of market up here and dammit I want deals too.

Just had to throw that one out.
