Yep, outlawing guns will surely help.

Good thing we did that with drugs. That's why we no longer have drugs, or drug related crime in this country. [/sarcasm]

for the last time, I'm not saying we should take the guns away - your complete and utter inability to have a normal discussion about this is case and point for the current state of this country - one side of the discussion is all far too many people can consider

It would appear that a small amount of bad gun dealers are responsible for a large percentage of weapons used in crimes - is it so bad to ask that we enforce, and if need be toughen the restrictions on such dealers?

Yes, there are guns all over in this country - but they didn't appear out of thin air.
