WOOHOOOO... new CD is out today... for those of you interested 😛 I'm a corrs nut, just thought I'd share.
and a whole new documentary here (comcast CN8 Presentation): http://corrs.snipid.net

Now off to best buy.. since iTunes doesn't seem to have it. Granted, I also got the aussie version for one of the B tracks (and to test out how well their "protected cds" are).

GO BUY THE CD 😛
 
I have always found their music bland. I usually like their type of bands, especially with lead singers who also have good voices.

i liked their two albums before the last american one. talk on corners and something else i forget the name of. the last american one made them sound like shania twain😛 hope this ones better.
 
I like it when she sang Ryan Adams "Stars go Blue" with Bono. Thats the best song I have heard them sing...

0roo0roo, In Blue may have sounded shania-ish cuase Mutt produced it 😛 The new album is more like the first and second.. and maybe a touch of the third. Love it so far 🙂
 
Got their album yesterday! Caught a glimpse of a not-so-huge poster of Borrowed Heaven at Tower Records and was inside in a bat of an eyelash. Being a long time fan(as far back as '96), I was going to get mine come hell or highwater. I quickly scanned the place on where the CDs were located and saw a lady on earphones, sampling the album. Without hesitation, I calmly walked over the stack, picked up a copy and went straight to the counter, with a smile of corrs. To my delight, I recognized the same lady holding a copy while queuing up behind me. 🙂

Been playing it non-stop going to and from work. I'm happy for the fact that the Irish/Celtic feel in their songs is back(which was almost non-existent in their last album! On a sad note, most critics have been slagging it off though. However, that doesn't bother us FANBOIS 'cuz as far as were concerned, they can all shove a cold Guinness up their arses! 😉
 
To me they're OK, but I like the stronger trad Celtic flavor of Clannad, Altan, Tannahill Weavers, etc.

Clannad in Concert is old but gaelicious.
