so that was a huge stereotype, but i don't there's any denying that corollas are wildly popular with indian folks.

I'm on the west coast and drive a corolla but I'm white. None of the corolla drivers I know are Indian....

What pisses me off is people who drive through a damn intersection slow. Does the general populace not realize that you are most likely to get in an accident or die at an intersection? I see mothers in minivans just take their sweet time through intersections all the time. Having worked as a cop, I hate intersections and do my best to get through them as quickly (not wrecklessly) as possible.

Am Woman. Own Corolla. Drive like bat out of hell, to the point where bf is frightened. Beat the crap out of my poor little 4-banger.

IMHO, the Corolla doesn't have a lot of get-up-and-go, slow to take off from dead stop, not a lot of acceleration in higher gears, though manual shift helps. Low-end torque sucks. Has weird mushy steering that sometimes results in an oversteer and sometimes results in understeer. Car is very light and blows around a lot at highway speeds. Also has large blind spots due to rear roof supports.

Must say that most others I see driving Corollas are old, senile people or newbie drivers.

No problems with Corollas here. It is the SUVs and trucks which have been jacked up another 2 feet which are the problem drivers.

What you seem to be describing is elderly-like driving behavior. They tend to drive boats - not Corollas.
