Actually the flag you are talking about is the Confederate Battle Flag. The national flag of the Confederacy was a different flag.

As for flying it....who cares? I see plenty of houses around flying the Mexican flag and nobody raises hell about that. Hell....if fact just down the street one of my neighbors is flying the German flag since his ancestry is German. To me flying the Confederate Battle Flag is no different.


Personally I fly the U.S. and Oklahoma flags in front of my house.

Isn't it ironic that the American Revolution occurred, yet the North would not allow the South to secede from the Union? (yes, I know slavery is wrong)

I knew a guy who liked to collect memorabilia (especially lapel pins) from old campaigns. If it was a losing campaign, that made the memorabilia even more valuable to him.
