Pretty certain #15 is a Beethoven Sonata, but the specific one and movement escapes me. My guess right now is #27. For performer I'm going to guess Kempff or Ashkenazy.

It is a beethoven sonata. Hint: It's the longest of them all.

No, it's not ashkenazy or kempff.

The 29th? I knew it was a later sonata, and I even listened to the 29th just to see, but it didn't remind me of the exerpt you provided.

Off to listen to it again...

[edit]Oh, and it is Brendel?[/edit]

Yep, it is the 29th sonata. Now try to find the movement 😛

No, it's not brendel. I think the pianist is famous JUST for his recordings of the beethoven sonatas, so I'm not sure if many people will recognize him.

Edit: 4th movement. Largo - Allegro risoluto

Thats Right! Good Job! 😛

#16 is F. Liszt - Transcendental Etude no. 10 in F min

btw, I saw Evgeny Kissin play this live several years back -- it was like thunder resonating throughout the concert hall 🙂
