Dancing in heaven! I never thought! I'd ever get my feet this far! (Orbital be-bop!)

Now that's a classic 😛

Now that I think about it, BT - Flaming June is the most likely candidate on my list. Virtually everyone will have heard it at some stage in their lives, it's every bit as ubiquitous as Robert Miles' Children. The name probably isn't familiar but I guarantee the song is. For me it pretty much defines the electronic music I first listened to in my childhood.

How can ANYONE still like Sandstorm after watching the swimming at the Athens Olympics? 😛

Another addition:

The Prodigy - Voodoo People

and if we're truly exploring the whole 'electronic' genre:

The Orb - Little Fluffy Clouds

James Brown is Dead - L.A. Style
Quadrophonia - Quadrophonia
Dominator - Human Resource
O Fortuna - Apotheosis
O Bumbratta (sp?) - Apotheosis
Give It Up - Goodmen

Little Fluffy Clouds is shockingly bad.

That's funny Little Fluffy Clouds just came on my yahoo launchcast station. I hadn't heard it in a long time. It's pretty tame for The Orb. Not the best song in the world, but i wouldn't call it shockingly bad.

I know it's not techno, more like Euro-pop:

Daft Punk: Harder, Better, Faster and One More Time

And don't forget the theme song for Mortal Kombat.

I second that and add in:

Lil Suzy - Take me in Your Arms
Dukey Man - Theo's Theme (more house than techno)
Jocelyn Enriquez - A Little Bit Of Ecstasy

Ok, I'm really done after this one. It doesn't get any more classic than this...hated by many, loved by many, danced to by all, yes I know it's really house:

Cajmere - The Perculator

:Q

A) It's not.
B) Sandstorm is, yet every fifth post in this thread is suggesting it.
C) It IS a classic electronic song.
