Neo Forza 480GB SATA 2.5" QLC $39.99. Not too bad, though I don't know that I would put an OS on a QLC drive. It's probably OK enough these days though, QLC is pretty mature tech. (I do like Intel 660p/670p QLC NVMe drives, for example.)

I think this is a really good deal for a 2TB TLC SSD. More than 1PB write endurance. It should make a great Steam drive for thousands of older games that don't really need 2GB/s sequential read speed.

Is it time to bite on this drive for game storage or keep waiting for a NVME deal? My MB only has 2x PCIE 3.0 x 4 mode and if I use both I lose 3 of my 6 SATA ports because they share bandwidth.

I own several Silicon Power SSDs and a couple of their NVMe drives and like them a lot. I have a couple of these 256GB drives in use at home and have used several in refurb builds. This is a great price if the storage capacity fits your needs.
