This movie should be banned because it does not properly represent minorities. It also creates many untrue stereotypes of white people, such as they can travel through time. "

Your bad review will prevent "Dan Viernerman" from watching the movie on Saturday night with his girlfriend.

The girlfriend will therefore stay at home on Saturday night.

She decides to cook popcorn for herself.

She opens the bag too soon and hot steam burns her lips.

Because of you a poor girl has burned lips!:lips:

Now this guy's got the right idea :D:beer:
I'm sorry everyone else out there is a critic and can't actually enjoy a movie anymore

I just got done watching this movie, and all I have to say is it was great. Anyone that hasn't actually seen this movie and is ragging on it can just shut their piehole. Honestly, how can you judge a movie you've never seen, based solely on second-hand reviews? roll;
If you haven't seen this movie yet and like to form opinions of movies independently of critics, I suggest checking it out.

Ditto.

Ashton played the role well imo. The film was also very good imo.

i wasn't expecting his drama acting to be good but i thought it was pretty decent for his first drama movie

but the plot/idea behind the movie was really good IMO and i thought it was pretty well executed

think donnie darko-esq done differently and multiple times with multiple outcomes......
and maybe alot of you should go into more movies neutral than thinking "this is gona suck" b/c if you do that then it will suck just because of a bad additude

and if you think the premise behind the movie / its main actor is stupid don't go watch it and then come back here and complain about it

Very well said.

ditto that. I think it needed more though.

I like that sort of stuff.

Aston isn't a bad actor in it either. He did really well.

I went in the movie didn't expecting much since I didn't really like Ashton Kutcher playing the lead role either. But the movie turned out pretty good. If you let the technical stuff get a hold of you, then you won't enjoy the movie as much. Just let everything flow and accept it and it's not a bad movie. By all means it's not a 100% serious movie. There are some scenes where you ARE supposed to laugh.

The movie is a bit disturbing, suspenseful, and funny at times. I'm not sure if this is a good combo but I think if you're a Ashton Kutcher hater (like me), you should still give it a try. More often than not, I bet you'll like the movie.

Are you suggesting I might start going back and forth in time, ala the plot of this movie? And sometimes I'll like it and sometimes I won't? That's enough to convince me! I won't be seeing it! (unless I can go back to 16 yrs old knowing what I do now!)

Sorry to revive an old topic but no one will accuse me of a repost!

The DVD came out yesterday and I finally had a chance to watch the movie I wrote off as a 'simple' Donnie Darko based on the previews. However, I actually enjoyed the movie and definately recommend it as a watch once rental.
