I have never seen the movie. But I was watching the MTV Movie awards last night, and the movie got the biggest popcorn in the house. That supposedly made Ruben Studdard mad or something I'm not sure.

Anyways, is the movie a good movie, and should I watch it, and why? is it better than porn?

if you went to high school in the 80's you'll probably love it, but otherwise you probably won't.

Was a great movie when you are a teen growing up, not sure if aged well though. There are some great lines in it though.

Vernon: Questions?
Bender: Yeah, I've got a question. Does Barry Manilow know that you raid his wardrobe?
Vernon: I'll give you the answer to that question, Mr.Bender, next Saturday. Dont mess with the bull young man, you'll get the horns.
Bender: That man is a brownie-hound.

I just watched i yesterday, Not the ABC Family garbage with every censored. I have heard great things about it. It lived up to my expectation. Who is your favourite character?

I love that movie... hahaha!!
It may seem dated to a lot of ppl... but I think the characters and situations are still valid in today's society.

:)

Good film, though to the average-aged ATer I'm sure it "suxx0rs", on top of the chicks in it being too fat and ugly, etc.

Yep, that's about the size of it.

Richard Vernon: What was that ruckus?!
Andrew Clark: Uh, what ruckus?
Richard Vernon: I was just in my office and heard a ruckus.
Brian Johnson: Could you describe the ruckus, sir?

since we all know that 99,99% of all AToters only like 80lbs asian women who look like they're 12 :)

Thank good i know there are a FEW AToters who like "real" women :)

Also, i dont remember Molly Ringwald either "fat" or "ugly"....i think you have a problem :)

that's like my life mantra :D

not to mention:

Richard Vernon: False alarms are really funny, aren't they. What if your home, what if your family . . . what if your dope was on fire?

John Bender: Impossible, sir. It's in Johnson's underwear

this movie always rocked for me.

it just captured that weird feeling of being at high school on a Saturday when no one else was there... plus, the melding of everyone from different crowds was sort of like my own high school. yeah, i like this flick a lot.

:music: don't you... forget about me... don't don't don't don't... :music:
