Just got back from watching the movie, and it does indeed kick ass

I totally agree!! in fact since I already saw it today I think I'll see it again Monday after work
when the theater will be pretty empty 🙂

just got back from watching it. I want to fight someone now 😛

kick ass movie. Wanna see it again. might even be better than transformers

Ummm....the books were a disgrace to themselves. The farther you progressed into the story the more you had to put up with rambling bullshit and convenient plot occurrences.

Good point. I've read the first two and I thought the movies have been much better with the tighter storylines and focusing on the memory loss instead of having him remember everything at the end of the first book iirc.

I really hope they dont disgrace the series/books by making a 4th movie. Im gonna go see the new one tonight, and hopefully its as awesome as the last two.

that's blasphemy, the characters were much better developed in the book (for the obvious reasons). i thought that the movies are good in their own ways.

the 1st novel was pretty good, but Ludlum did just as stinkynathan mentioned. the character development was basically non-existent in the 2nd and 3rd. the supremacy in general was fairly hacky, though the ultimatum did a bit to bring the trilogy back some respectability. it's pretty shameful that they're cashing in on more books after ludlum died.

i thought the movies improved with each iteration. the 1st didn't know whether to follow the novel or strike out on its own, and the 2nd made the correct decision to abandon the novel's plot lines.

This movie kicked some major ass! It's nice to feel like you've gotten your money's worth at a movie these days. There was a lot of quick-motion camra action during fight and chase scenes, but the action was so intense that you hardly notice.

Don't rent this one. Go see it on the big screen. A+

BTW... it has a rating of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes.

saw it today, was definitely awesome, probably the best movie of the year for me, the ones I've been anticipating have all pretty much come and gone, some disappointments and others were surprises but Ultimatum takes the cake.

it was pretty good...not sure id say best for the year though.

some odd camera angles too...

suspense 100% of the time though , haha...or at least the music made you think so!

Confirmed. It wasn't quite as bad as the second, but it certainly wasn't as good as the first.

I think the director likes using fast-moving, unstead cameras to make the fight and chase scenes better... It works, but at the expense of totally comprehending what's happening. I feel as though I get cheated out of seeing a REAL fight scene when those are over with...I only saw the punches and a eventually a dead guy, but never got to see the big picture as it happened.

As for the movie...no spoilers, but I give the ending a 6.5 out of 10. They should have had about 5 more minutes to tie things up a little better. I wasn't happy with a certain suspense scene...it was weak.

Wife and I loved it. We sat closer to the screen since the theater was full, so Shaky Cam (tm) really bothered us in places. I think it'll be awesome on HD HDVD when it comes out, the first two were great. Two thumbs up!

Just got back from watching this... AWESOME!

2007 has been a great movie year... And some good stuff coming in November!!!

And Rush Hour 3 damn I almost forgot!!

Saw it today. Sat in the back row. Shaky Cam was present...but didn't seem as bad as the 2nd. My wife couldn't watch the car chase scene though...too much motion.

Great movie. The action was brutal. I don't think I've ever cringed as much during a car chase as I did in this one. The train station scene at the beginning was brilliant.
