I saw it tonight. I thought the movie was good, but the shaky friggin camera was driving me nuts. During one fight, I had no clue what was happening. And during the big chase scene, I started getting dizzy watching. Good move, BAD camera work.

Very enjoyable movie. Damon has the role nailed and the storyline was great. The camera work did bother me a bit during the fight scene with the other assasin and the climactic car chase.

Overall an A-

Have you heard Matt Damon's voice in the trailers? Sounds like a 12 year old trying to be mean.

Seems to me they really could have made a better choice in Identity so we wouldn't have to live with him in all 3 movies. What was Quinn's name in the TV show Sliders? He was more along what I imagined Bourne would be after reading the books.

camera work was biggest downfall by far.... every time they zoomed out for a regular shot my eyes sighed with relief.. then BAM right back into the shaky camera crap again

Seconded. When they make the third one -- and you know they will -- they'd damn well better have fired whoever the Director of Photography was on this one. I really had some trouble following the film in places because the camera was so shaky. "It adds realism and the sense that you're in the scene, blah blah blah." I'd rather be able to see what's going on. I go to movies to watch stories about other people.

I saw it this Sunday. (The 25th) The car chase at the end was great. Not sure if it's the best car chase ever, but it's definitely up there. I'll have to re-watch the current reigning(sp?) champ, Ronin, to make an informed decision. I'm definitely buying this on DVD when it comes out.

So is "Perfect Color Me" the official Jason Bourne theme song or what?

Err Ronin was good but Bourne beats it out big time. The end of the car chase in Ronin was pretty lame whereas this one had an awesome ending.

I didn't mind the camera work at all... kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole movie.

Saw it on the huge cinerama dome screen in hollywood. I'm not a fan of action movies, bourne identity is a guilty pleasure of mine I suppose but this one was great.

cant read all of this thread, but i saw this movie this weekend and was totally awesome.. A+

the thing i liked about matt damon was that he not too fancy or anything, he was just a regular guy trying to free himself... (case in point: one thing i hate about some stars is that they gotta display themselves w/ all the goodies like fancy cars, girls, debonaire attitude...)

is there gonna be a third one out? the camera movement in the fighting scene were jittery but it was made like that to make it look suspensefull... if it was still than i think u really dont feel what it feels like to be the center of a fight...

camera shakes were pissing me off also
they went kinda cheap with the shakes because it makes it easier to film the action scenes...alot of stuff you assume happened that wasnt really filmed thanks to the camera shaking technique...
it still worked though

good movie, better than the first

The movies are so differnt from the book, it doesnt matter what order you read/see them in

The only resemblance from the 2nd movie and book is the name Bourne (slight exageration?)

I read all the books and by the third i was pretty bored because they are all the same
and that new one (Bourbe Legecy) was NOT written by RObert Ludlam (or whatev the author is) and it just plain sucks, stay away from that
