The Bourne Identity

LOL. It's ok. I have it on DVD but I wouldn't miss it if lost it or sold it to tell you the truth. I'll still see the sequel, though.

The book is 100 times better than the movie!

Seriously. How in the hell can they do Supremacy after such major changes or omissions to the story? BTW, I really liked the movie and do still look forward to the Supremacy. I like the idea of the Bourne character more than the story anyway.

The movie was great, really convinced me Damon is a much better actor than his buddy Affleck. It was surprising that Damon pulled off the role of an action star, and Franka Potente.. hehe, allllriiiiight.....

I saw Franka Potente last night at a show. She was with some a-hole.

what are the major differences between the movie and book?
Well, Marie's reason for staying with Jason is just slightly different.

Movie: Motivated by profit opportunity.

Book: Jason saves her life, and kills someone who is trying to rape her. She gets set up as the only person who is close to the psychologically damaged Bourne. In the book they are tied together with much stronger ties than profit opportunity.

I don't consider that a spoiler, it's really not giving away too much in the overall scheme of the plot.

Pretty much the only thing similar to the book is the fact that there's a guy who is a badass who lost his memory. That's about it.

I don't even remember a mention of Carlos in the movie but I haven't seen it since release day.

Kwit referencing books, damn books don't have 16:9 widescreen aspects and digital surround sound. Can your book shake my windows if there was an explosion? NO! The best a book can do is ""KAAABOOOOMMMMMM" as you read it, what the heck is that gonna do? Now with my surround sound, I can see, and feel the explosion.
