Guess these will be the burning speeds:

1x = 93 minutes
2x = 47 minutes ?
4x = 24 minutes ?
8x = 12 minutes ?


16x is a possibilty but they don't know for sure.

27 gigs in 12 minutes sounds pretty good, think waiting for 4x burners is the smart thing.
 
For burning 27GB within 12 minutes, a transfer speed of at least 38.4 MB/sec is required. While this may be possible for most high-end HDDs, for older ones that's going to be stressful. ;p But I suppose the HDDs will have been improved again by the time Blu-Ray becomes widely available.
