I had to hire SpaceX to put some of my lambos on Jupiter, was running out of room in my garage. I'm debating on if I want to build a bigger garage, or just buy Jupiter. I think the ring around it would make a cool race track.
See, Bitcon can't even be used to build you a bigger garage!

When OP posted this to bash Bitcoin, it was trading around $3,300. Today, Bitcoin is back up to around $11,500. So if you bet against OP, you would've made around 3.5 times your money in less than 2 years.

Bitcoin won. It's now recognized legit asset class. Not jumping on the Bitcoin train in the beginning was one of my biggest mistake. I was here when people were mining it with their computers and video cards. I don't know why I didn't join them.

I really wish I had gotten into mining when it first came out. I had considered it but just did not want to invest in the hardware and did not feel it would get as big as it did.

You and me both. Only, I *had* the hardware. 2x Q6600 rigs, each with 2x HD4850 AMD/ATI 512GB cards. Would have been an "early Bitcoin" mining monster. Oh, the missed opportunities. I could have spent 10,000 BTC on a pizza too!

Lambos are for new money. :0)

Yeah, all the cool kids are getting Rivians now instead.

Of course, there are other cryptocurrencies that are growing faster than Bitcoin now. Solana seems to be the new hotness this year, and Ethereum is still doing good as well.

I like Solana, because the transaction fees are low and it uses Proof Of Stake instead of Proof Of Work for minting new coins. That means that it doesn't waste a ton of electricity like Bitcoin and Ethereum do. They basically did what the Ethereum team promised and failed to do three years ago.
