The Bird Flu is new in Europe, Middle East, and Africa. It seems to spreading all over the world, and a Pandemic seems almost inevidible, but the news hardly reports on it any more. Such a major crisis with so little news coverage.

It's because it spread to Africa just recently.
George Bush doesn't care about black people.
Of course he doesn't. He's too busy finger painting and trying to trace his name in crayon in the white house bathroom stalls.

Of course, when Bush did mention the preparations and research going on to counter the bird flu, P&N was all abuzz about how he was blowing things all out of proportion and how it was a giant scare tactic and a "duhversion from the Iraq war.

It still only being spread by birds like chickens and ducks etc.
If it ever becomes a mutated virus and starts spreading between people then we will have a problem.

If a pandemic hits you will be told not to leave your house for a month or two. The wife is really pressuring me to invest in foodstuffs to make this possible.

I've my stash of Tamiflu. I'm good for the next 3 years.

Not proven to work on bird flu.

It works better than anything else currently available. Govts around the world seem to think it works.

Africa is a problem because there are millions of people with weakened immune systems from HIV living in close contact with poultry and eachother. They also have the lowest standards of healthcare. Couldn't be a more perfect place for the virus to mutate.

Yes, because a total of 88 people dying from bird flu is definately a pandemic.

We have to be careful. How do you think it starts?

What, worried that one of those 13-year-old Myspace girls you're all horned up to sleep with will have TEH FLUZ?

It's only getting "worst" in areas that aren't the United States so I don't care.

Would you like to buy a turkey?
Do you have heatware? Also, please enable your profile and e-mail address before continuing any transactions thanks
