Finally seen this film and it was so depressing.
We have the crooks, then we have other crooks figuring out how to cheat those crooks, then more crooks cheating the crooks cheating the crooks. And so on and so on.
Layers upon layers of crooks cheating crooks.
And all the crooks knew in the end that the US taxpayer would be stuck paying for their crimes.

The crooks i.e. our system.
Our system of banking, our system of investment, and above all our system of greed.
And just like the movie ALL THE PRESIDENTS MEN, with that famous line "Everyone's Involved".

Layer upon layer of institutions involved in crime, along with the very institutions created to keep an eye on our institutions.
Institutions created to protect the people, yet failed the people.
Because those institutions were involved in that original crime.
And why does this failure happen? Why was everyone involved?
Because all the criminals knew in the end the taxpayer would serve the time for the crime.

What is so depressing about all this greed and criminal injustice throughout our institutions was that no one really acted that surprised.
You could conclude that America is not based on capitalism, or even socialism for that matter.
Our America system is actually based on greed and criminal activity.
Which crook can out crook the other crook.
This is how we operate.

From our financial system throughout our political system throughout our legal system.
No such thing as a criminal until that criminal is actually caught red handed.
The problem is, no one is looking for the criminal.
How many CEO's actually served jail time after the 2008 meltdown?
One? Maybe none?
How any banks were held accountable?
How many laws were passed to keep this from happening again?

What I was saying about the sad thing here, was that no one really acts that surprised.
We all know what the problem is. We have the problem laid out before us every day on TV, in the media, and in print.
We all know exactly what the problem is.
Again, the sad thing is that we have no method in place to fix the system.
No criminal would ever create any system that held that criminal accountable.
Welcome to American Capitalism.

PS.
This gives you a little insight on just why someone like a Jeb Bush, the anointed golden child of politics, is doing so miserably. And that applies to Hillary as well.
And insight on why someone like Donald Trump or Bernie Sanders can rise to fame.

This goes back to 2008. The people remembering.
That is why Bernie Sanders resonates with the electorate.
And why the electorate has given up on the establishment.
