Please give any suggestions you have.

At work, we have a long email list that the university keeps in touch with. What is the best way to send email to them at once, upto 5,000 people. Or if it can be done?

programing is not my area, it there some software that will do that?

thanks.

Ladi's suggestions will work, but I was thinking that with blat (a command-line mail utility, and there are others besides blat) and a small batch job you could do it with less setup.

I just saw something on this, but I can't remember where 'cause it didn't matter to me. :(

I am going to look for it.

I think the technique involved some kind of simple mail merge that any secretary would know how to do with the word processor. The reference might have been in a PC magazine.
