I think, not sure, but I think it has to do with the explanation of how the chairs were set up. It mentions that the two are seated in chairs facing you, not facing each other or facing between each other. If not, then please fix your post accordingly.

it doesn't matter as long as you can see both other people.

The pertinent fact is the 2 smartest people in the world + you. You know that smart people would realise that if they saw one red and one green dot but everybody put their hand up that their own dot would be green. So therefore if everybody puts their hands up and you can see two green dots but nobody has said anything then you know your dot must also be green, because if it was red one of the others would have said theirs was green.

Edit: of course the smartest people in the world would also realise this heh so you'd better just be quick or trusting that they are in fact smart enough to realise heh

winnar!

heheh what a kinda dummy riddle though hehe.

My brain went nullo mode and I just did a google search hahaha. "celebritygoogame...." is the hint i give u 🙂

That's kind of lame if that's the answer.

Because nobody else said anything therefore they saw two greens as well as yourself. If your paint was red one or the other would be able to deduce theirs was green simply because everybody put their hands up so everybody saw green

mnementh has the correct answer. the first two people that raised their hand and did not say anything because they saw two green and therefore couldnt guess what their color was.

for example, solution based upon the fact that the riddle said the three were wise: if person #1 had saw a green on #2 and a red on #3, and #2 raised his hands that would mean that #1 would know that he had a green because either #1 or #3 had a green, but #1 already saw that #3 had a red, therefore #1 had a green.

in the riddle, #1 and #2 both raised their hands and did not say anything because they both saw 2 greens.

anyways, what happened to the people? If they're not-so-bright..how'd they think of the riddle? What becomes of their leader, and just because one can solve a riddle doesn't mean he'll have the medical expertise to help their leader?

oh yeah they're not-so-bright when they could have just went to some infirmary instead.

😕

Yeah, getting riddles secondhand makes them a lot more difficult. You get the explanation typed up differently and one minor detail can derail a train of thought. It's better when they're checked for clarity. Repeatedly. 😛
