That was a nice impression/review of the PSP hardware. I can't wait for it to hit the US, hopefully in March. I will decide then whether to sell my DS at the time or keep ahold of it. Aside from the battery life (which I don't find as much of a problem as most people), the only other downside to the PSP so far seems to be the price of games. The handheld community has become accustomed (sp?) to $30 and $40 games, and it looks as if Sony will buck that trend in favor of $50 games. Of course, with the gameplay the PSP is capable of providing, $50 may be worth it with some games. (I'm getting the $50 price tag from ebgames.com)
The main advantage I'm seeing so far besides raw system capabilities is the launch titles. According to ebgames.com, we'll have games to choose from like Gran Turismo, Twisted Metal, ATV Offroad Fury, Dynasty Warriors, NBA Street, Metal Gear, Tiger Woods, Ridge Racer, and Wipeout. Booya!!! The DS, on the other hand, has a skimp amount of games coming in the next 6 months.
