The best piece of advice to newbie builder...

Having got all the pieces together my ambitious build proved a flop. All the sucker would do was beep at me. My Thermaltake 450W PSU could have been the obvious answer, we all know about the power needs of hungry SLi. However, the best advice I got was from these very pages where someone simply said "plug in the speaker!" Sounds daft I know, but the machine was trying to tell me that it had failed the memory test and a poorly seated RAM provided an easy solution. I fear the experts here may think it's pretty obvious, but it wasn't. Thx anyway.

The first thing I say is buy a quality psu then I say make sure you seat the ram properly:)
