Hi! I am in need of a new computer just for DAW recording. What setup allows for optimum tracks, low CPU usage, integration with rec. software like Cakewalk 9 and Cubase etc. Also where can i buy the best nucleus such as ABIT motherboard, guaranteed chip oc'd, and tower=fan combo? I want to thank you for all the previous help and hope you can assist me again in my recording endeavors. Psongman

In general, for audio stuff, you need fast floating point. Go the Athlon route. And you'd probably want an absolutely bulletproof system, so I strongly recommend you skip the overclocking. Just get as much PC133 RAM as you can afford, and a decent processor.
