Also. Can anyone give an opinion on how these sound at low listening volumes? I live in an apartment and one of the reasons I'm considering these is they provide good BASS without a sub.


Do you need to play them at medium volumes to get quality sound? How do they sound at low volumes?

i didn't use 'C tubing', and you definately don't wanna use that stuff under the carpet. i do have some of the 'C tubing stuff that i used for a light tho. i'll try to get a pic for you.

I used 14 guage but the housing is very thick. I also ran the subwoofer cable in the same area. I can definitely feel and see the "bump". I might replace the speaker cable with 14 guage thin housing wire eventually. I did see a site where a guy used ribbon cable to make a flat cable. I think he had to solder something like 50 ends of the individual wire together though.
