I don't think Republicans with bongs would describe those who oppose the Patriot Act and other abuses of government.

I don't buy this non control thingi. Does RP believe in the right of ownership? We stole America from native Americans. Genocide isn't control? You got any buffalo running around in your yard. Are you going to give up your property in reparation? Libertarianism is based on theft. Nobody owns anything. It's a form of mental illness.

Bullshit.. America was partly purchased and partly conquered. You can't own anything you can't defend. If some country or people wants a piece of the US, they can try and take it.

Libertarianism is the principle of maximizing individual freedoms in a society while minimizing government control.

Monnbeam, explain to us how society today, in its current evlotuion, would function without any concept of ownership. Ownership gives us a reason to contribute - it is a necessary evolutionary mechanism that allows society to function right now.

Maybe once we've all ascendeed to enlightenment it will no longer be necessary - like an appendix - but, for now, it is not only functional, but requisite.

Hence, I take issue with you labelling it as a mental illness.
